I'm Jen the Book Lady, and I love children's literature!
A book enthusiast and writer from Kalamazoo, MI- I live here with my husband Kevin, our daughter Kit, and our two dachshunds (Slinky and Sadie). I love reading, music, running and theatre... and I'm very passionate about my mission to help all kids have access to quality books.
I've loved books and writing as far back as I can remember. I was the kid who climbed trees to read Ramona books, and wrote novels on the back of my math. But not all kids grow up loving books, and it's my job to help your readers find something perfect to suit their tastes and levels.
I began my journey with Usborne Books & More in the fall of 2015, hoping to do something fun as a stay-at-home-mom. I'm amazed at the incredible things UBAM has allowed me to do! From helping with our income to some incredible trips, UBAM provides some amazing opportunities. Perhaps most importantly, I've been able to get books into the hands of thousands of children across America!
